Gijs Faber, founder and principal consultant.
Gijs Faber has 30 years of international experience in supply chain, procurement and IT. For 20 of those years, as executive supply chain leader, he led supply chain divisions with over 700 staff and budgets over NZ$1 billion.
He has worked in retail, FMCG, food and meat processing, building products, steel, timber, pharmaceuticals and animal health. His clients include multinational corporates and New Zealand businesses, in Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
As a consultant and as an executive, he has kept close to the shop floor, where strategies and designs face hard reality, and where the change happens. He realised early on that this Japanese approach to both transformation and continuous improvement are essential to ensure sustained change, and embedding of transformation.
